Allison Wallach to Run Fox’s In-House Unscripted Studio

Jupiter Entertainment president Allison Wallach has been named head of Fox’s new in-house unscripted studio, Fox Alternative Entertainment (FAE), the broadcast network announced Tuesday. In her new role as executive vice president of the alternative studio, Wallach will report directly to Rob Wade, Fox Entertainment’s president of alternative entertainment and specials. She will be based in Los Angeles and focus on identifying, developing and producing unscripted programming both for Fox network and third-party platforms.” She also will oversee the studio’s growth, as it builds its internal organization, and seeks out new talent and producers to expand its pipeline and portfolio in the unscripted arena, both at home and abroad,” according to Fox. Fox launched FAE last year, which took over production of the network’s smash-hit competition “The Masked Singer” from its original studio, Endemol Shine North America. Along with continuing to run “The Masked Singer,” FAE will produce its upcoming spinoff series, “The Masked Dancer,” and co-produce new competition series “Ultimate Tag,” both for Fox network.
