Alison Sweeney Returns as Everyone's Favorite Baker-Turned-Sleuth in 'One Bad Apple'

Have you noticed a change over on Hallmark Mystery? The network has undergone a slight revamp and is now known as Hallmark Mystery instead of Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Hallmark Drama has had a touch-up as well and is now known as Hallmark Family. In it's newest whodunnit, Hallmark Mystery goes back to an old favorite - Hannah Swensen.

What is One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery about?

Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney) has been asked to teach a baking class at the college in town, but her equipment is tampered with causing an explosion that the fire department rules an accident. Soon, a colleague ends up dead and Hannah begins to put together the puzzle of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder while being on the list of suspects herself. Hannah leans on her friends and family to collect the breadcrumbs of foul play and put them together, and meets a different side of law and order when she crosses paths with Lake Eden’s by-the book prosecuting attorney Chad Norton (Victor Webster).

Victor Webster (Chad Norton)

Webster has been actor for over two decades with starring roles in films like The Scorpion King 3 and 4 and on the TV series Continuum. He has starred in over a dozen projects for Hallmark including the Matchmaker Mysteries movies and The Wedding Veil trilogies.

Fun fact: Victor Webster and Alison Sweeney have starred together before. They both co-starred in both The Wedding Veil trilogies on Hallmark Channel.

Barbara Niven (Delores)

Niven is a staple on Hallmark Channel, it seems. She has had supporting roles in over two dozen movies including the Crossword Mysteries and Christmas in Evergreen films. She also starred as Megan O'Brien on Chesapeake Shores in all six seasons of the show. She is also the National Ambassador for American Humane.

Gabriel Hogan (Norman)

Hogan is best known for his role as Peter Morris on Heartland and Ike Crystal on Tacoma FD. He comes from an acting family. Both of his parents are well known actors, Michael and Susan Hogan (the two appeared together as husband and wife in The Christmas Secret). His wife, Inga Cadranel, is also an actress. Previous credits include My Christmas Hero, Prince of Peoria, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Tess Atkins (Michelle)

Atkins has appeared in several of the Hannah Swensen Mystery movies. Previous credits include The Flash, Supernatural, and Continuum (which starred Victor Webster).
