Alison Mo Massey Joins Jessica Rhoades’ Pacesetter Productions As EVP

EXCLUSIVE: Pacesetter Productions, run by Black Mirror and Station Eleven exec producer Jessica Rhoades, is staffing up.

The company has hired Alison Mo Massey, who previously ran Jim Parsons’ production company That’s Wonderful! Prods, which was based at Warner Bros. Television, as EVP.

She joins a team that includes Bryan Daly, who was recently promoted to director of development.

Rhoades and Pacesetter have a first-look deal at A24

At Parsons’ company, she co-exec produced Fox’s Call Me Kat, starring Mayim Bialik, which ran for three seasons.  In 2021, she produced Spoiler Alert starring Parsons and Ben Aldridge, directed by Michael Showalter, and produced two seasons of Special for Netflix.

Before joining That’s Wonderful, she exec produced documentary Strange Negotiations, which followed Pedro The Lion’s David Bazan that premiered at SXSW in 2019

She began her career at Exhibit A Film, Seth Gordon’s Sony Pictures Television-based production company.
