Alison Hammond has shared a rare snap of her teenage son, Aidan.

Posting to Instagram on Monday, the This Morning host published a snap of the two of them in their Birmingham home as she looked proudly at her 15-year-old son, whose father is Hammond's ex-partner, Noureddine Boufaied..

She captioned the photo: "My world !!!"

While the presenter typically keeps her son out of the limelight she also delighted fans back in June as she posted a TikTok of herself dancing with Aidan while he looked less than impressed.

It's been a challenging year for Hammond, 45, as both of her parents passed away in 2020.

In June she disclosed that her father Cliff Hammond had died in Jamaica, but that she would not be able to travel to the memorial service.

She added she was "saddened that he wasn’t part of [her] life as much as [she] would have liked" but that she still had "a sense of loss and emptiness".

Meanwhile, her beloved mother Maria died in February earlier this year from cancer.

After her funeral, Hammond shared to Instagram: "Today I dedicate Valentine’s Day to my beautiful, wonderful Mother Maria who passed away from liver and lung cancer.

"Yesterday my family and I celebrated her amazing life and laid her to rest in a beautiful ceremony she would have been proud of. Thank you mummy for giving me the strength to move forward in the knowledge that you're ok and with God in Heaven now.

"I will always remember you and try and make you proud. I love you mum."
