Christian Siriano's latest sartorial celebration was star-studded!

On Sept. 8, the acclaimed fashion designer debuted his Spring/Summer 2024 collection at New York Fashion Week, a runway show that simultaneously honored his brand's 15th anniversary and featured a celebrity-stacked front row all decked in their Siriano best.

Among the stars were Janet Jackson, Avril Lavigne and Padma Lakshmi — in addition to longtime fans-turned-friends like Kesha, who told PEOPLE ahead of the show that she's "known him for so long."

The "Die Young" singer's history of collaborations with Siriano dates so far back, she was stumped at pinpointing her favorite look. "My god, I've known him for so long. I don't even know," she admitted from the show's front row at the Pierre Hotel.

"Honestly, this is my favorite," Kesha concluded, referring to her all-black ensemble that featured a monochrome tuxedo dress accessorized with matching cat-eyed shades and heels. "I'm really excited for tonight. I got a sneak peek," she teased.

Another fan-turned-friend of the designer is Alicia Silverstone, who recalled to PEOPLE the feeling she felt when she first wore a Siriano-created garment. "When I first started wearing his clothes, it just made me feel very much like a woman, like a sophisticated but still sexy woman," she said.

"He seems to really understand our bodies so well. I think that's really what he did for me," revealed the Clueless star. "Every time he does it so beautifully."

Silverstone recalled "one of the most fun" memories she has of Siriano, specifically bringing up the getting-ready process when they're on vacations together. "He'll just pull out some insane garment and put it on me, and it takes him about five minutes," she said.

Laura Linney shares a similar feeling to Silverstone, telling PEOPLE that Siriano's clothes "just comforts" her. "When I think about just how comfortable I always am in his clothes, not only physically, but just emotionally, you just know you're in the right thing," she said.

"It's comfortable to wear. You feel good," she continued. "It's really a real luxury to be able to be dressed by him." The Ozark actress went on to praise the designer, as a champion of diversity and inclusion in the fashion industry.

"He's a remarkable human being," she said of Siriano. "I think he's a very much needed example for people who might be intimidated by the fashion industry."

Linney also recalled a specific look she "really loved," citing the "white dress" with "black piping" that she wore to the Emmy Awards in 2022. The floor-length gown featured peplum at both the bust and just beneath the waist, which she paired with silver accessories and her hair tied in a simple low bun.

Another Siriano-sporting staple on red carpets is Sarah Hyland, who told PEOPLE she's "loved Christian for so long." The Modern Family alum said she "just loves everything that he does," sharing that they've "worked together since [she] was a teenager."

"He doesn't exclude anybody in the world of fashion and that is so, so important to me," Hyland said. "I was born and raised in New York, so that's how I was taught, just to love every person no matter how they identify or what they look like," she continued. "I just love that he is able to truly express that through his fashion. Always very happy to be here back in my hometown and especially to support Christian."

As for her favorite Siriano-designed look? "The 2014 Emmys," Hyland revealed. "It was Joan Rivers' last Emmys 'Best Dressed.' It was the white top with the custom ballgown skirt. It was my favorite look I think I have probably ever worn on the Emmys' red carpet," she said.

Similar to Kesha, Laverne Cox had a difficult time pinpointing just one of her many favorite Siriano looks. "We've had iconic moments in Christian Siriano that are glamorous and opulent and structural," she told PEOPLE. "He has such a range of what he can do as a designer, and he's just a lovely person to have fun with."

Some of her greatest memories in the designer include the 2019 Met Gala, her "first and only Met Gala" to date. "We found out two weeks before the Gala that I got the invite from Anna Wintour herself, and most designers were not available," she said.

"We went to Christian," she explained. "I had a very specific vision. I knew I wanted something architectural. We went through some of his archives, found something similar, and he customized it to perfection in two weeks."

"I could cry," the Orange Is the New Black star said. "It was such a big moment for me. It was a dream come true going to the Gala, and I felt amazing," she continued. "I feel like the images are iconic. It was a special moment for me. I love the images. I love the look."

Following the runway show — which included a surprise performance by Sia, who serendaded guests with hits like "Chandelier" — the stars joined Siriano for an intimate VIP Dinner at Ambra and After-Party at The Ned Nomad.

In celebration of the occasion, all guests were dressed in Christian Siriano — while Siriano himself made a statement with an Everytown “End Gun Violence” T-Shirt, in support of the organization’s advocacy for gun control and the fight against gun violence in America.

"SIRIANO 15 WOW I really can’t believe it Thank you everyone for all the love and support so much to post but here swipe for beauty!! 💞💞💞" Siriano wrote on Instagram after the show, along with several other posts taken from show day.
