Alicia Silverstone is making Cher Horowitz proud.

Anyone who loves Clueless knows just how much of an impact Cher’s pleated skirts and plaid-forward looks have had on the world of fashion and pop culture (multiple iterations of her yellow blazer and skirt have been worn by a bevy of celebrities including Amanda Seyfried).

So, it made perfect sense for the Golden Globe-nominated actress, 47, to reprise her beloved role once again — 28 years later to be exact — for a Heaven by Marc Jacobs photo shoot.

On Tuesday, Silverstone took to Instagram with a few snaps of her latest designer collaboration for which she recreated her iconic shopping spree scene from the 1995 film.

With her blonde hair blowing in the wind and a stack of shopping bags slung over her shoulder, Silverstone’s 2023 version is so spot on.

Styled by Danielle Emerson, Silverstone models a very Cher-approved look.

Instead of wearing a blazer, collared blouse, argyle-print mini skirt and silver Mary Janes from the ‘90s, the actress models a sexy skin-baring pearlescent pink skirt set with Marc Jacobs’ famous Kiki sky-high platforms.

And there’s more!

Silverstone wears multiple pre-noughties getups. In one photo, she poses in a pink off-the-shoulder pinstripe knit with distressed detailing. That's teamed with a denim micro mini skirt, stilettos worn with knee-high socks, a pink puffer bag and a nostalgic fluff-tip pen.

The deconstructed bottoms make a second appearance in another photo from the shoot, this time teamed with a graphic spaghetti-strap tank top.

Silverstone captioned her Instagram post, “I'm just a girl in a world... 🎀👩🏼🛍 A fun little photoshoot I did for @Heavn by @MarcJacobs.”

The star definitely has one big thing in common with her iconic on-screen alter ego: a love of runway fashion.

During New York Fashion Week this past September, Silverstone spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about her love for designer — and her close friend— Christian Siriano and what it means for her to be wearing his impeccable designs.

"They just make me feel very much like a woman — a sophisticated but still sexy woman," she shared. "And he seems to really understand our bodies so well, and I think that's really what he did for me."

This season, the Reptile actress brought drama to the front row in a knock-out black gown featuring a sheer fabric decorated with flower appliqués in artful clusters made by the Project Runway alum.

The duo also like to have some fashionable fun while they’re on their bestie getaways.

"I think the most fun stuff is when we're on vacation," Silverstone revealed. "He'll just pull out some insane garment and put it on me. He'll do my hair, he'll start messing with my boobs. It takes him about five minutes and then you get these amazing photographs."
