Alicia Keys has the cutest bond with Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter.

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, the “Karma” singer was shown a photo of herself in conversation with a young Blue Ivy Carter from the 2018 GRAMMYs. The moment prompted Keys to reveal the endearing connection she has with Beyoncé’s daughters and the rest of the Carter family.

“I remember this so clearly. These are our dear friends and our family, and everybody in this picture, we are very close and have true love for each other,” shared the New York native, 43.

Keys considered Blue to be an “angel spirit,” noting, “so obviously, every time you see an angel spirit, you’ve got to go down to their level and give them some good, good love. And so, it was just like, ‘How are you? How’s everything feeling? I’m so happy to see you.’”

Not only does the Hell’s Kitchen visionary share this synergy with the eldest of Bey and JAY-Z’s offspring, but it’s also rubbed off on Rumi. “And now, they tell me that Rumi, she sings all my songs,” Keys gushed. “She’s my little pumpkin pie. She is so adorable.”

Earlier in the segment, Keys spoke on the magic behind the anniversary show for The Diary Of Alicia Keys.

“With ‘Diary,’ doing the show to commemorate it and to celebrate it, I sang the entire album from top to bottom and I had never done that before. So, it was like this new way to latch onto these songs and what I felt about them,” she expressed. “They were so genuine and truthful and reflective of whatever I was experiencing at the time. I feel like that’s the key to the timelessness — the ability to really feel it and know that it’s real.”
