Alicia Keys Channels Adele, Gwen Stefani, and Janis Joplin on ‘Tonight Show’

On The Tonight Show, Alicia Keys displayed her musical prowess in a game called “Wheel of Musical Impressions,” and she started by teaching Adele her ABC’s — that is, she sang the alphabet song to the tune of Adele’s famous “Hello.”

And there’s no doubt that she didn’t want her Voice cohort and fellow judge, Gwen Stefani, to feel left out, so she took “Miss Mary Mack” and used that for No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.”

Then, unfortunately, Jimmy felt like he needed to sing — even though Alicia Keys was sitting right there — and he went on to terrify us as a Pointer sister selling insurance: He sang the State Farm jingle, but imagine Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs doing the singing.

Thankfully, Alicia took the mic back and stole a little piece of our hearts with Janis Joplin’s famous tune, but with “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” lyrics instead.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on NBC.
