Alex Rodriguez Shares Engagement Anniversary Tribute to Jennifer Lopez That Has Us in Our Feels

Time flies when you’re the cutest couple in Hollywood! It’s been one year since Alex Rodriguez popped the question to Jennifer Lopez, so he celebrated with an engagement anniversary tribute — and if you weren’t already all up in your feels today, you will be after watching A-Rod’s super-sweet video filled with behind-the-scenes moments (and lots of love, natch) from the power couple.

The ESPN analyst took to Instagram on Monday evening to share a few heartfelt thoughts about proposing to his bride-to-be. “One year ago on a beach in the Bahamas…. I was a nervous wreck, more nervous than my entire playing career, I got down on one knee and asked you a question… you said yes,” Rodriguez wrote, directed his post at Lopez. “Jennifer, every moment with you is a blessing. You are my best friend, my inspiration, an amazing mother, and a role model to all. Macha, I am so lucky to be with you. Thank you for making my life better. I can’t wait to make more memories with you. I love you.”

If that didn’t make your eyes start leaking, the video surely will. Set to The Temptations’ “My Girl,” it takes fans behind the scenes of A-Rod and J.Lo’s relationship — from the moment he asked her to marry him to quiet moments at home, and everything in between.

Understandably, Lopez was so overcome with emotion she could barely get out a comment. So, she emoted. Or, rather, emoji’d, dropping a series of crying faces and hearts before writing, “YOU! That’s all I have to say.”

Lopez then went on to re-share her fiancé’s special engagement anniversary tribute on her own Instagram feed. “I had a dream… (in my Billie Eilish voice)… except it was real,” she captioned her re-post, continuing, “Every day with you is an exciting, beautiful adventure… The best is yet to come… and what a dream it all is and will always be… Te amo Amor.”

Be still, our hearts! Could these two be any more precious? We’d say no, but then they’ll surely do something even more romantic next week. Since announcing their engagement last March after two years of dating, Rodriguez and Lopez have become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples — clearly, this video tribute speaks to why.
