Jennifer Lopez has countless adoring fans, but none can compare to her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez! Ahead of her concert at NYC's Madison Square Garden on Friday, the 49-year-old singer's beau paid tribute to her as she prepared to take the stage in her home state. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Alex shared a photo of the two backstage and commended his future wife for working hard throughout her career.
"Bronx to Madison Square Garden," he wrote. "For a cab driver, it's just a 9.2-mile ride. But for @jlo, the road from being a kid running around with holes in her shoes in the Bronx to headlining at the world's most famous arena, was long and arduous and took years of hard work and relentless dedication." He then cheered her on, adding, "Keep on killing it girl," followed by a heart emoji.
Alex has previously shown that he's one of J Lo's biggest supporters (and we're not just talking about the massive engagement ring he bought her). In a recent video on Jennifer's YouTube channel, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at J Lo's tour, "It's My Party," and how Alex helps her get through tough shows. One particular concert in Las Vegas left Jennifer in tears after she made a mistake on stage. But Alex was there to help her feel better. "Every time I see the shows, they keep getting better and better and better," he said. "Your voice was the best I've ever heard it." Let's just go ahead and give him the award for most supportive fiancé!
