SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Alec Benjamin, a multi-platinum singer-songwriter, announced a concert in Salt Lake City on his 31-city tour of North America.

As part of his 12 Notes Tour, Alec Benjamin is set to stop by the Union Event Center on Monday, Oct. 14, with support from Matt Hansen.

Presale tickets are available beginning April 9, and tickets go on sale to the general public on April 12 at 10 a.m. locally.

Alec Benjamin is embarking on the tour following the release of his album “12 Notes,” which is set to come out on May 10. The tour is scheduled to begin in San Diego in September and conclude in Los Angeles toward the end of October.

In addition to general tickets, fans will also have the option of purchasing VIP packages and experiences, which would include access to the floor, and options for a meet and greet with Alec Benjamin in addition to exclusive gifts.

Alec Benjamin has several gold and platinum certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America. His song “Let Me Down Slowly” is a three-time platinum song.

According to a press release, Alec Benjamin has more than 9 billion streams on his songs globally, in addition to more than 1.6 billion views on YouTube and millions of followers on social media.

Alec has performed at major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza. Following the release of his 2022 album “(Un)Commentary,” the singer embarked on a headline tour that took him across the United States, Asia, Europe and Australia.

The supporting act on the tour, Matt Hansen, has millions of followers on social media as well, with more than 100 million streams across his first eight singles.
