Alec Baldwin's wife has revealed she's suffered another miscarriage in a heartbreaking video. Hilaria Baldwin took to social media to reveal the emotional news, telling fans she "really devastated" as she was four months pregnant. This miscarriage is the second one she's publically suffered this year. Sharing footage showing the couple's 6-year-old daughter, Carmen, comforting her mother with love, Alec Baldwin's wife says they weren't expecting this shattering outcome. This miscarriage comes just seven months after her first.
"We are very sad to share that today we learned that our baby passed away at 4 months. We also want you to know that even though we are not ok right now, we will be," Hilaria captioned the video. "We are so lucky with our 4 healthy babies—and we will never lose sight of this. I told Carmen and took this so I could send it to Alec. I guess this is a good way to share it with you too," she added. Revealing she told her daughter they'd continue to try to her give her a little sister. Hilaria continued by giving more details into the miscarriage, revealing she went in for her scan on Monday and found out the shocking news. "I’m really devastated right now...I was not expecting this when I went to my scan today. I don’t know what else to say...I’m still in shock and don’t have this all quite clear," she wrote. Ending her devastating post, Hilaria asked for privacy during this emotional time. "Please no paparazzi...that’s all I ask." Fans immediately took to her comments to express their sorrow for the stars, including Alec Baldwin's famous niece, Hailey Bieber. "I’m so sorry. Love you guys," Hailey commented on the video.
While many were sending love to Alec Baldwin and his family, some decided to express their confusion on why Hilaria continues to make her struggle to get pregnant so public. "Sorry for your loss. However, I don't understand why you need to make every aspect of your life public, particularly so soon? And then tell paparazzi to back off? The more you contribute to your public persona, I would imagine the more the paparazzi try to add to that?" one person questioned. "My heart is with you and Alec but why do this to yourself?" wrote another.
Her First Miscarriage
As The Blast reported, Hilaria Baldwin went public with her first miscarriage earlier this year, taking to social media to tell fans she was "most likely experiencing a miscarriage." Rubbing her tiny baby bump at the time, she stated, "I always promised myself that if I were to get pregnant again, I would share the news with you guys pretty early, even if that means suffering a public loss. I have always been so open with you all about my family, fitness, pregnancies...and I don’t want to keep this from you, just because it isn’t as positive and shiny as the rest." She also said the embryo currently has a heartbeat, although it is not strong.
One day later, Hilaria Baldwin gave an update on how she was coping with the situation and thanked everyone for their support. "I want to assure you that I know I will be ok. I have perspective to understand sadness and loss in the grand scheme of things. Emotionally I am processing it all," she told fans. "I was very nervous to share, and am so relieved that it was received with such love. I know that you didn’t have to and am humbled and honored by your openness. I don’t know about you, but I find it extremely comforting to know that I am not alone on this difficult journey." Alec Baldwin and Hilaria have four kids together.
