Alec Baldwin's wife Hilaria Baldwin, has been by his side ever since they met in 2011.
The couple's meet-cute took place at a New York City restaurant. "I wandered into Pure Food and Wine on Irving Place, on an unseasonably warm February evening," Alec recalled via Instagram in 2019. "My friend, [Brendan O'Connell] and I sat down (outside!) and as I turned to my left I saw a woman who would change my life. Entirely. 8 years today. Thanks for all you've given me. You are a gift."
In a 2012 interview with The New York Times, Alec and Hilaria revealed that he didn't ask for her number right away. Instead, he gave her his card and told her to call him.
“I was standing near the door with my friends when he walked up and took my hand and said, ‘I must know you,’” Hilaria recalled.
Hilaria initially got his voicemail, but they went on a date a few days later — and it didn't take long for sparks to fly. The pair were officially dating by spring and got married in June 2012.
