Alec Baldwin returned the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, playing a Trump haunted by the Mueller investigation even while attending this weekend's G20 summit in Argentina. First Lady Melania Trump, played by Cecily Strong, did her best to console him. "Oh, cheer up Donald, you know worst case scenario," said Strong. "You go to prison and have to transfer your money to me for safekeeping and I have to hire a jacked hunk to protect me."

Kate McKinnon made an appearance reprising her role as Rudy Giuliani. When Baldwin asked how the presidential legal defense is shaping up, McKinnon replied, "Well, I’m involved, so it’s not great. This might be the first time someone’s lawyer pleads insanity."

Baldwin then phoned Michael Cohen, played once again by Ben Stiller. "I’m sad you’re going to prison, Michael," said Baldwin. "You were like a son to me."

"Then why’d you make me do so much illegal stuff?" asked Stiller.

"Because you were like a son to me," Baldwin replied.

Beck Bennett and returning SNL alum Fred Armisen far and away stole the sketch as a Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Salman in the full flush of bromance, complete with complicated secret handshakes.

"You’re not my side piece, you’re like my main girlfriend," Bennett assured Baldwin. "This other guy is just a random hook-up."

"Vladdy check it out," said Armisen. "When I killed that guy the other day, Trump was like, ‘Oh please tell me you didn’t do it.’ I was like, ‘Bitch, you want oil or not?'"
