When life imitates art: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star Alan Ruck crashed his vehicle into a Hollywood pizza shop on Tuesday night.

Surveillance footage obtained by TMZ reports shows Ruck’s truck blowing through an intersection and swiping another vehicle before crashing at Raffalo’s Pizza at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. Two people reportedly reportedly sustained minor injuries.

For his part, Ruck remained at the scene of the crash, and there was no indication he was inebriated.

The incident of course bears some similarities to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, in which Ruck’s character Cameron famously destroys his father’s Ferrari after he and Ferris (played by Matthew Broderick) take it on a joyride through Chicago.

Ruck most recently starred on HBO’s Succession as Connor Roy, and is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at this year’s Emmy Awards.
