Al Pacino, Noor Alfallah Determine Parental Relationship of Son, Ask Courts to Finalize Custody and Child Support

Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah are another step closer to determining child support and custody of their son Roman.
According to legal documents obtained by PEOPLE, both Pacino, 83, and Alfallah, 29, have waived their rights to contest their parental relationships at trial, with each of them acknowledging that they are a parent to their 4-month-old son.
Other documents obtained by PEOPLE show that the two have asked the judge to enter a judgment about an agreement that they have filed in regards to their son, which seemingly addresses child custody, child support and legal fees.
Pacino and Alfallah welcomed their son in June. The two have been linked together since April 2022.

In September, Alfallah filed for physical custody of their son. In legal docs obtained by PEOPLE, Alfallah requested that Pacino have “reasonable visitation” of Roman.
Alfallah, a producer who graduated from the University of Southern California’s Cinematic School of Artagrees, also reportedly requested the Academy Award winner have joint legal custody, which would allow him to participate in major decisions concerning their baby, including medical treatment and education.
A specified amount for child support was not listed in the initial filing, according to The Blast, but per California law, the income of each parent is to be established first before ordering child support.
Alfallah also reportedly asked the court for the House of Gucci star to pay for her legal fees and any costs associated with the case.
A Voluntary Declaration of Parentage (or Paternity) was signed by both parties, according to reports, six days before baby Roman was born. A VDOP is a “government form two parents can sign to create a legal parent-child relationship between a child and parent” and is “often signed at the hospital when a child is born, but it can be signed later,” according to California Courts. The document was signed by Pacino and a third-party witness.
Shortly after filing the custody agreement, Pacino and Alfallah confirmed that they were still together.
“Al and Noor have successfully worked together and have mutually reached agreements regarding their child Roman. They are still together," the actor's rep told PEOPLE in a statement at the time.
In May, Pacino's rep confirmed they were expecting their first baby together, marking the fourth child for the Oscar winner.
A source told PEOPLE back in June that Pacino "is happy" in his relationship with Alfallah and their age difference "isn't a major issue for them."
"They seem to enjoy each other’s company and have things in common in the entertainment area," said the source.
