Now that's an interesting choice of song.
Former Vice President Al Gore walked out to Nelly's risque song "Hot In Herre" to introduce the trailer for An Inconvenient Sequel.
"Ten years ago, An Inconvenient Truth proved that movie theaters can be powerful engines of change," he said.
"The climate crisis is not a partisan issue. As I've traveled around the world, I've found communities are embracing … solutions and transcending politics," Gore said of the movie, which is produced by Participant Media.
Though Gore did not speak out onstage about Trump, the trailer featured President Donald Trump speeches in which he touted plans to end the Environmental Protection Agency. And, even as Gore was visiting CinemaCon, Trump signed an executive order to roll back most of President Obama's climate-change policies.
Paramount is releasing the film July 28.
