Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is gearing up to clash with Ajay Devgn’s highly awaited movie Maidaan, both eyeing an Eid release on April 10, 2024. In addition, both movies will face NTR Jr’s Devara Part 1 at the box office.  The Telugu action drama is releasing on April 5, 2024.

This follows the latest accidental trend of big releases on the same date. For example, Guntur Kaaram, HanuMan, Merry Christmas, and Captain Miller were released on the same date, i.e. January 12, 2024.

Akshay Kumar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan & Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan to release on Eid 2024

Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated Maidaan has finally locked its release date. This Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s directorial faced multiple delays, primarily due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. It was supposed to be released on February 17, 2023.

However, Boney Kapoor, one of the film’s producers, confirmed the shift in release date via a text message to PTI. This was in response to recent reports suggesting Maidaan’s new release date is on Eid 2024. On the whole, Kapoor put an end to the speculations.

The said report is by film trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He recently took to social media to officially announce the rescheduled release date.

Maidaan is a sports drama paying tribute to the golden years of Indian football. Ajay Devgn steps into the shoes or, rather, spikes of the legendary coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Popularly known as Rahim Saab, he was the coach and manager of the India National team. The film promises a compelling story against the backdrop of India’s football history.

Whereas Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an action-packed thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It marks the first-ever collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

All in all, as the Bollywood calendar shapes up for these epic clashes, fans can only await the showdown between Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan.
