Aimé Leon Dore's New Collection Is the Spring Style Upgrade You've Been Looking For

From Esquire

Spring style can be a tricky thing to navigate. While it's nice to break free from the dark colors of winter, going too far with those warm seasonal tones can leave you looking like a walking Easter egg. Luckily Aime Leon Dore's Teddy Santis knows exactly how to strike the right balance.

Dropping today is ALD's spring/summer 2017 collection, which we first got a glimpse of last June at Men's Fashion Week in Paris. Featured in the collection is a lineup of windbreakers, coach's jackets, lightweight bombers, polos, and trousers, as well as the return of the brand's Uniform program, which includes logo tees and french terry hoodies, cardigans, and crewneck sweatshirts.

Sticking to a low-key color palette of creams, grays, blues, olive, and an occasional pop of soft yellow, the clothes are a perfect example of the loose, unstructured vibe that has come to dominate street style of late. Basically, if you want to be comfortable but still look put-together, this is the collection to do it with.

The entire SS17 lineup is available now at aimeleondore.com and at the brand's NYC concept shop at 179 Mott Street. Check out more images from the lookbook below and then grab your favorites. They won't be around for long.
