The viewership numbers for Ahsoka are finally being reported, now that the anticipated Disney Plus series premiered its first two installments last week. How did Ahsoka fare in terms of views? Was the result better or worse than the Obi-Wan Kenobi series? Here’s what you should know.
How many people watched Ahsoka?
Ahsoka reportedly pulled in 1.2M households over its first six days.

As reported by Samba TV, Ahsoka hit more than one million U.S. households watching over its live+5 day. The result is similar to what Andor did when it premiered in September 2022. Despite receiving good reviews from the critics, Andor never captured the heart of the larger Star Wars audience.
This year, the Star Wars series with the highest numbers was The Mandalorian season 3, which reached 1.7M households for its March premiere. The series created by Jon Favreau is arguably one of the most popular Star Wars products in recent years.
Is Ahsoka performing better than Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney Plus?
At the time of writing, Ahsoka is reportedly performing worse than Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney Plus.
The Ahsoka viewership numbers are down by 50% compared to the Obi-Wan Kenobi premiere.
The latest Lucasfilm series couldn’t match the impressive 2.4M household result scored by the Obi-Wan Kenobi premiere in May 2022. The titular Jedi master is one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars, and fans were eager to see what was going on with him in the years between the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Similarly, the Ahsoka series follows the path of the titular heroine in the aftermath of Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Ahsoka is now streaming on Disney Plus. New episodes premiere on Tuesdays.
