"America's Got Talent: All-Stars" is bringing back fan favorites with inspiring stories for another shot at the title of "AGT" champion.

One of those beloved acts on Monday's episode was Sara James, a 14-year-old singer from Poland who wowed on the last regular season of the NBC super-competition (Mondays at 8 EST/PST). James, who clinched judge Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer on her previous season, returned for a haunting performance of Harry Styles' "As It Was."

But the "All-Stars" competition is fierce. Despite earning a standing ovation from judges Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum, James came up short in superfan votes and did not advance to the finals.

So who did make it through? Here's what went down.

Detroit Youth Choir brings Simon Cowell to tears, repeats 'AGT' history

The Detroit Youth Choir launched to fame in the music performance world after clinching the Golden Buzzer from host Terry Crews on their previous "AGT" season.

The group returned for another empowering, high energy performance that saw them dancing and singing to Imagine Dragons' "Thunder."

Cowell was brought to tears, calling the group's act "one of the best things."

Mandel was also in his feelings.

"It was exciting. It was thrilling," he said. "It was exactly what an 'AGT' all-star champion needs to be."

Klum agreed.

"Some choirs can be a little on the snoozy side but not you guys," she said.

Crews was impressed enough to repeat "AGT" history, jumping up to the judges' table and hitting the Golden Buzzer, sending the choir directly to the finals by bypassing the superfan vote.

And that's exactly what aerialist Bryant delivered during his act, which saw him spinning from a metal triangle suspended in the air, with no net below to catch him.

At one point, he seemed to slip, just barely grabbing one of the triangle's sides with his hands before plummeting to the ground.

When Klum asked if that was a slip up or part of the act, he confessed: “It was a little bit slippery up there, but we made it work."

"I am not a fan of single-person aerial acts," Mandel said. "That being said, what you performed tonight seemed scarier and more dangerous, and it was much better than anything I’ve seen you do."

Cowell called Bryant's act "a ten."

"If I was the superfan, I think I’d be voting for you right now to make it through to the final," he added.

Victória Bueno inspired the judges and fans alike with an elegant routine to Lauren Daigle's "You Say" that saw her twirling and leaping across the stage in a tutu.

Victória Bueno, teen ballerina with no arms, left Simon Cowell 'mesmerized'

Bueno, an 18-year-old dancer from Brazil who was born with no arms, told the judges she hopes to inspire people into realizing that no dream is impossible.

Bueno previously competed on Season 15 of the "AGT" series "Das Supertalent," earning the Golden Buzzer and finishing in second place overall.

Now, accompanied by her translator and dance teacher, Bueno came to "AGT: All-Stars" to win. "I am here to prove that everyone can strive for their dreams," she said.

She inspired the judges and fans alike with an elegant routine to Lauren Daigle's "You Say" that saw her twirling and leaping across the stage in a tutu.

"The sign of a star is someone who perseveres and then, when they’re on stage, lights up the stage, and you have both of those things," Cowell told her. "When you were performing in here it was like complete silence because we were mesmerized."

Mandel commended her technique: "We didn’t even see a second of faltering. It’s amazing the amount of strength and elegance that you put in."

But what did the superfans think?

After all the acts performed, Crews announced the top three superfan vote-getters from the episode: Bryant, Bueno and musical duo Divyansh and Manuraj.

But only one could make the final.

In the end, that spot went to Bryant, with Bueno finishing in third and Divyansh and Manuraj in second.
