'AGT' judges can't believe they let this cheesy singer through to the live shows
During the first live show of America's Got Talent Season 17, 11 acts took the stage in hopes of securing one of two spots to go straight through to the finals via America's overnight votes.
However, while the night featured some talented singers, stand-up comedians, acrobats, dancers, and even Terry Crews's Golden Buzzer, it was the return of "Parmesan Guy" that stole the show.
Ben Lapidus made history with an unprecedented judging decision during the auditions when he surprisingly managed to turn four red Xs into three yeses, which ultimately sent him to this week's Qualifiers round.
As Ben started his performance Tuesday night, it seemed like he was going to take a more serious route, singing a ballad on the guitar. However, after a couple of opening lines, Ben suddenly stopped. After a few awkwardly quiet seconds, Ben handed off his guitar as he stated, "Sorry. Someone take this. This was a mistake."
Ben then screamed, "I'm the parmesan cheese guy!" He then ripped off his denim jumpsuit revealing an all-black leather getup as he went into a full on screamo-mode performance of his cheesy original song about parmesan, singing, "I always want more parmesan but I'm embarrassed!"
History repeated itself as Ben received four red Xs all over again. And while viewers at home were loving "Parmesan Guy," stating that he needs to "win it all," unfortunately, this time the judges didn't change their minds. In fact, Sofia Vergara couldn't believe they all did last time around, as she exclaimed, "Ben, you seem like a super nice guy. I don't understand how you made it here. How? How are you back here?"

BEN LAPIDUS: Embarrassed! That is exactly how they want us to feel so they can take all the cheese for themselves. Well, guess what, Big Parma, we're not going to be embarrassed anymore, are we?

BEN LAPIDUS: This was a mistake. I'm-- I'm the-- I'm the Parmesan cheese guy! Everyone up on your feet. Let's go!
KYLIE MAR: Ben then launched into a full on screamo emo performance of his cheesy original song about Parmesan.
BEN LAPIDUS: (SINGING) We will die before we let Big Parma win. We are not embarrased! We always want more Parmesan!
