For the first time ever, “America’s Got Talent” is letting the judges get in on the action with its highly anticipated spin-off series titled “AGT Fantasy League.” Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B will draft a roster of returning all-star acts and will compete against each other throughout the season, which begins Monday, January 1 on NBC. Get to know all of the 40 acts below, including winners, finalists, viral sensations and fan favorites from “Got Talent” franchises all around the world.
“America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” marks the fourth overall “AGT” spin-off after “All Stars,” “Champions” and “Extreme,” but this is the first iteration that lets the judges also participate. In fact, you can think of them more like the coaches you see on NBC’s sister reality TV show “The Voice.” Terry Crews has been slated to once again return for hosting duties.

Here are some additional factoids about the new show: The winning act will receive a grand prize of $250,000. The judges will each fill their fantasy teams with 10 unique acts. The Golden Buzzer is back to send acts straight through to the finals, but with a “twist” in that each judge can press the button for their own act, OR to take an act from another judges’ team. Also, the studio audience votes each week to determine who will advance to the semi-finals and final rounds.
