'America's Got Talent' crowns blind and autistic singer as the Season 14 champion

And the winner of America’s Got Talent is... Kodi Lee! The 22-year-old singer, who is both blind and autistic, blew the audience away during his powerful first audition and earned the first Golden Buzzer of the show’s 14th season.

The entire judges’ panel has been huge fans of the Kodi’s since his first appearance. He’s also garnered the praise of celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, who after seeing his first audition tweeted, “Loved this moment so much! Stood up and cheered in my living room.”

Kodi easily advanced through the rounds. During the finale, he joined Grammy winner Leona Lewis for a touching rendition of “You Are the Reason.”

Leading up to the finale, many fans had Kodi pegged as the clear favorite but that didn’t dampen fans excitement when his name was called. Many fans took to Twitter to voice their support for inspirational singer.

As the winner, he is entitled to a $1 million prize, as well as being named as the headliner for the AGT act in Las Vegas. When asked how he felt after winning, Kodi said, “It is so amazing. Unbelievable.”
