‘AGT’ Act Terrifies Simon Cowell, Entertains Everyone Else

On America’s Got Talent, viewers were treated to an entertaining performance by wild card performers the Passing Zone, a comedy juggling duo starring Jonathan Wee and Owen Morse. And for last night’s performance, the group added a special guest star: Simon Cowell.

Cowell is not particularly a fan of the duo. In fact, he was the only judge who didn’t vote for them to get the wild card to advance to the next round. Part of the reason the Passing Zone was given the wild card was because they promised to use Cowell in their next performance, which they did.

The routine involved Cowell wearing a helmet with spinning torches on it, while holding two tridents with spinning plates on them. As Cowell stood on stage, Wee and Morse stood on opposite sides of him and juggled flaming torches back-and-forth around Cowell.

Cowell looked miserable, which led to the other judges being overly joyful. Howie said, “It’s the most fun I’ve had all season. You guys made me file like Elton John, and Simon was my candle in the wind.”

America’s Got Talent airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
