For kids interested in art of all kinds, WCA offers classes that explore different media. The hands-on classes emphasize expressing oneself through age appropriate art projects. For preschoolers, Jenny Kelly-Masloski teaches Doodle Buggies (ages 1.5-3 years) and Preschool Picassos (3-5 years). Older kids can enjoy Artist Playground (ages 6-9) and Artist Toolbox (ages 10-13).

Adults can unlock their literary potential and embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery with the new creative writing class. Tailored for writers of all levels, the course will offer a tapestry of hands-on exercises in fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

Writers also can join the Writers' Circle for a supportive community to foster growth as a storyteller.

Teens can put pen to paper. too. New instructor Cillian Martin will offer Teen Writers' Sci-fi/Fantasy Circle. The online class will discuss what makes a story sci-fi or fantasy and work with students to develop stories through creative writing prompts.

In music, a new class with instructor Mary Deauclaire will lead a class in jazz appreciation called Diggin into Jazz. Students will dig deep into the lives and times of renowned jazzers and their music, using stories and legends, archival recordings, videos and photos. The class will discuss what they hear and find ways to listen and appreciate jazz more broadly. This class is offered for ages 16-plus.
