Belgium's rising star Lost Frequencies knows how to build excitement with subtle strokes. His breakout hit "What Is Love" was an impactful reinterpretation of Haddaway's iconic 1993 hit that turned the giant anthem into a thoughtful ballad. The young artist's 2016 album Less Is More is a beautiful collection of chilled out tunes, running on the theme that one doesn't need be brash and booming to be heard.
Still, more is definitely more, and some dance floors call for a harder beat. Afrojack and Ravitez turned the bright lights on Lost Frequencies' album opener "All Or Nothing" featuring Axel Ehnström. The beat kicks harder, the drop comes in heavier, but it doesn't explode in a messy way. The remixers show restraint with their excitement, paying homage to the original's refreshing delicateness.
Afrojack and Ravitez' bumpin' take on "All or Nothing" sees official release Friday, April 28, but you can catch an early glimpse of the remix below, exclusively on Billboard Dance.
