HBO made a particularly strong showing, with fully half of the Top 10 entries airing on the premium cabler. Netflix got three awards and FX two — leaving the major broadcast networks and everyone else shut out.

An AFI Special Award, designated for a work of excellence outside the institute’s criteria for American film and television, was given to Amazon’s Emmy-winning Fleabag.

The 10 outstanding TV programs deemed culturally and artistically representative of this year’s most significant achievements in the art of the moving image are:

Chernobyl (HBO)
The Crown (Netflix)
Fosse/Verdon (FX)
Game of Thrones (HBO)
Pose (FX)
Succession (HBO)
Unbelievable (Netflix)
Veep (HBO)
Watchmen (HBO)
When They See Us (Netflix)
