Jamie Hayter will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that Hayter will put the title on the line against former champion Riho when the company returns to Long Island on April 5. Riho has picked up wins against former AEW Women’s World Champions Toni Storm and Nyla Rosa in recent weeks. She also defeated Emi Sakura on the March 10 episode of AEW Rampage.
In the past, Hayter and Riho have traded wins on AEW Dynamite. Most recently, Riho lost to Hayter on the October 26 episode in 2022.
