Rosa is a former AEW Women’s World Champion. She was set to defend the title against Storm back at AEW All Out 2022, but she was unable to compete due to a back injury. Storm won the interim title, and she became the lineal champion when Rosa relinquished her championship.
Rosa missed more than a year, but she returned to the ring in December 2023. She has been gaining momentum ever since, and she pinned Storm in a tag team match on the March 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.
