All Elite Wrestling will deliver a star-studded show with the December 21 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Among other matches, Jamie Hayter will defend her AEW Women’s World Championship against Hikaru Shida, and The Elite will battle Death Triangle in the fifth match of their best-of-seven series. Plus, FTR will face The Gunns.

The results are as follows:

In-Ring Segment: Ricky Starks

After a recap of his loss to MJF last week, Starks says MJF won like a coward. He promises that there will be a next time. Starks makes it clear that this is just the start, as he’s going to work his way back to a title shot. He says that at the end of the day, he’s going to be the man around here. Chris Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society interrupt. Jericho says he’s been watching Starks for a long time, and he calls Starks a million-dollar talent. He guarantees that Starks will be a world champion some day, but he’s not ready yet. Jericho says Starks just needs a little advice and a little Chris Jericho. He invites Starks to join the JAS. Starks responds and says Jericho knows how to stay relevant, as he went from looking like an air fryer to dressing like a single dad on his fifth divorce. He turns Jericho down and says the J in JAS might as well stand for jobbers. Starks questions what Jericho has done for Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara. He then challenges Jericho to a match, and Jake Hager attacks Starks from behind. The JAS beats Starks up, but Action Andretti makes the sabve.

Match Five in Best-Of-Seven Series: (No Disqualification): Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero Miedo) (3-1) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks)

The match starts with a chaotic brawl between the teams. Death Triangle catches The Elite with superkicks. The Young Bucks and Omega gain the upper hand. Alex Abrahantes stops Brandon Cutler from getting involved and takes cold spray in the eyes for his troubles. After a flurry of offense, Omega is standing tall until Penta hits him with a trash can. PAC, Penta, and Fenix catch Matt Jackson with a dropkick. Nick takes Fenix out at ringside and eats a slingblade. Death Triangle get some tables and maintain the advantage. Penta sets up a Christmas tree in the corner, and Omega gets driven back-first into it. Nick Jackson rallies with some superkicks. PAC ducks a superkick, and Nick inadvertently kicks a chair with his bad ankle. Omega throws a trash can at PAX and hits him with a moonsault. Omega gets a barbed wire broom and hits Fenix with it. He slams Fenix face-first onto the barbs. The Jacksons hit dives through tables on Penta and PAC. Omega hits Fenix with the Tiger Driver 98. Abrahantes stops Omega from hitting the BTE Trigger. Omega drills Fenix with a V Trigger, but Fenix counters the One-Winged Angel into a hurricanrana for a two count.

Fenix gets the bell hammer and hits Omega with it. PAC locks Omega in the Brutalizer with the tinsel from the Christmas tree for more leverage. Matt breaks it up. Each member of Death Triangle has a bell hammer, but the Young Bucks stop them. The Jacksons hit Fenix with the Meltzer Driver on a chair for the win.

Winners: The Elite

Death Triangle attacks The Elite after the match. The champions use the bell hammers to bloody Omega and the Young Bucks.

In exclusive footage from last week, MJF calls Bryan Danielson a gutless coward and a nobody. He says he beat Ricky Starks clean, and Danielson stuck his nose in it. MJF calls Danielson a scumbag and says everyone wants to eat off his plate. MJF says Danielson will eat less than he desires and more than he deserves.

In an interview, Action Andretti discusses his win over Chris Jericho and says the fans’ support feels amazing. Angelo Parker and Matt Menard show up and compliment Andretti. They say he’s “on fire”, given his hot streak. Jericho sneaks up behind him and blasts him with a fire ball.

In-Ring Segment: Bryan Danielson

Danielson is asked about the Blackpool Combat Club. He says he can’t expect the group to forgive William Regal. He then recalls how he had his first match near the arena, much to the San Antonio crowd’s delight. He notes that he was trained by Shawn Michaels, but Regal made him the man and the wrestler he is. Danielson discussed the impact Regal has had on his career and on the industry as well. He noted that he loved having Regal in AEW. Danielson then said there are consequences to actions, and that certainly applies to MJF. He calls out MJF, but Ethan Page comes out instead. Page says that he should be next in line for a title shot. Stokely Hathaway says Danielson should go shopping at Trader Joe’s. Danielson says he’s distracted by the light reflecting off Hathway’s head. Page threatens to turn Danielson into a vegetable, and Danielson challenges him to a match. Page backs down and agrees to face Danielson next week.

Backstage, Jon Moxley says he won’t miss the $300,000 trios battle royale on AEW Dynamite. He says Hangman Page knows where he’ll be, and he wonders when they’ll settle this in the ring. Moxley questions what Page thought was going to happen, as it’s not his fault Hangman has a glass jaw. He then vows to teach his opponent, Darius Martin, a lesson tonight.

TNT Champion Samoa Joe previews his match with Wardlow next week and says he’ll give him what he asked for next week.

HOOK vs. Exodus Prime

HOOK easily overpowers Prime and drives him into the corner. He locks in the Redrum and makes Prime tap out.

Winner: HOOK

On the video screen, Lee Moriarty and W. Morrissey attack “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry backstage, clearing in an attempt to send a message to HOOK.
