AEW and CFX have reached a settlement in the lawsuit regarding the Luchasaurus mask.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the two sides have agreed to a settlement in the dispute over the merchandising rights to the mask. In December 2022, CFX filed a lawsuit in which they alleged that AEW and Austin Matelson (Luchasaurus) are merchandising CFX’s design. CFX claimed that the mask is a copyrighted work, and it is being merchandised without their permission.
AEW and Louisiana-based mask maker Composite Effects (CFX) have reached a settlement in their dispute over the merchandising rights to the Luchasaurus mask.

AEW’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit was denied in May 2022.
