All Elite Wrestling has announced a new title match for the February 10 episode of AEW Rampage.
In a tweet on February 9, AEW President Tony Khan announced that Lee Moriarty will challenge Orange Cassidy for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship on Friday night. The match comes after FTW Champion HOOK physically confronted Moriarty’s manager, Stokely Hathaway, on the February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite.
In a post-show interview with Hathaway and Moriarty, Danhausen, a friend of both HOOK and Cassidy, interrupted and drew Stokely’s ire. Cassidy showed up and said he’d give Hathaway what he wanted, which turned out to be a title shot for Moriarty.
