The remaining dates on Aerosmith's farewell tour have been postponed until "sometime in 2024" as Steven Tyler continues to recover from damage to his vocal cords, an injury sustained during a New York concert.

The Peace Out tour was scheduled to bring Aerosmith to Footprint Center in downtown Phoenix on Sunday, Dec. 10, for a show with special guests the Black Crowes.

The Boston rockers shared the news on social media.

"Unfortunately, Steven's vocal injury is more serious than initially thought," they wrote.

"His doctors have confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx, which requires ongoing care."

The post noted that Tyler is "receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential."

The post also includes a note from Tyler, who wrote, "I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world."

Tyler ended his note with "I promise we will be back as soon as we can! - Love, Steven."
