From Aerosmith to Eagles, July 4th weekend means tribute shows at Daytona Beach Bandshell

DAYTONA BEACH — Although two British bands — the Beatles and the Rolling Stones — kicked the classic rock era into high gear in the United States in the 1960s, those bands were building on the influence of 1950s pioneers Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Elvis Presley.

Yeah, rock ‘n’ roll is a uniquely American invention, so it’s only fitting that the music that made America great is the foundation of an extended July 4th weekend celebration at the Daytona Beach Bandshell.

The Independence Day holiday is the backdrop for what is arguably one of the marquee weekends for the Bandshell’s two weekly concert series events that are popular fixtures for residents and visitors alike.

In addition to the customary Friday and Saturday night tribute-band concerts, there’s also a bonus performance on July 4th offering tribute to the enduring music of the Eagles. What’s more American than that?

The weekend tribute band concerts at the Daytona Beach Bandshell are a popular summer staple at the World's Most Famous Beach. There's a full slate of shows over the July 4th holiday weekend, with more weekly concerts scheduled throughout the summer.
