‘Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake’ Renewed For Season 2 At Max

Finn and Jake’s alternate universe continues.

Max has renewed YA animated series Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake for a second season. The spinoff of the long-running Cartoon Network series launched earlier this year.

Based on the characters from Adventure Time, the series is set in the land of Ooo and follows the alternate universe versions of Finn and Jake on a multiverse-hopping journey towards self-discovery.

In Season 1, when Fionna and her sidekick Cake find themselves in the crosshairs of a powerful new foe, they have no choice but to seek the help of former Ice King Simon Petrikov. The show features appearances from Marshall Lee, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Princess Bubblegum, and Finn the Human.

The voice cast includes Donald Glover, Andrew Rannells, Madeleine Martin, Roz Ryan, Tom Kenny, Kayleigh Mckee and Sean Rohani.

It is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, Adam Muto serves as showrunner and exec produces with Fred Seibert and Sam Register.
