Adult Swim Festival 2019 Announced: Captain Murphy, Vince Staples, Dethklok, Eric André, More

Plus Geto Boys, Jamie xx, Young Thug, Lil Nas X, Tierra Whack, and a look at “Rick and Morty”’s fourth season

Adult Swim Festival is returning to Los Angeles in 2019. It takes place at the Banc of California Stadium on November 15-16. This year’s initial lineup includes Flying Lotus’ hip-hop alter ego Captain Murphy (the first show in five years), Vince Staples, Dethklok (the band from “Metalocalypse”), a live “Eric Andre Show,” Jamie xx, Young Thug, Lil Nas X, Tierra Whack, Conner O’Malley, Joe Pera, and more. The lineup’s announcement also marks the first newly booked Geto Boys show since the death of Bushwick Bill. Find the lineup trailer below.

This year’s Adult Swim Festival includes a 360° screening of an episode from “Rick and Morty”’s fourth season, plus experiences themed around “Robot Chicken” and “Squidbillies.” There will also be a discussion with Genndy Tartakovsky of “Samurai Jack.”

Last year’s Adult Swim Fest featured the inaugural “Rick and Morty” live show, plus performances from Run the Jewels, Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Hannibal Buress, Mastodon, and more.
