Adriana Lima Responded After Her Appearance On A Recent Red Carpet Sparked Concern

You know Adriana Lima. She's a model and a boss of a mom.

Unfortunately, she recently faced negative comments about her appearance after attending the premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes on Tuesday.

Adriana wore a little black dress with red detailing and a pair of black tights for the event. She paired the look with red pointed-toe heels and a bold lip, with her hair styled straight and sleek.

Though many fans adored her outfit, others commented on how different Adriana looked from usual.

Some speculated that she got plastic surgery — specifically, the famous fox eye procedure, where part of the eyelid is cut to create a permanent cat eye shape.

Others wondered if it was just her makeup.

It got to the point that Adriana's fans started getting involved to defend her.

And eventually, Adriana herself responded.

Taking to her Instagram story, she shared a photo of herself without makeup and wrote that it's just "the face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two pre-teens, one active boy, a 1-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs." She then said, "Thanks for your concern."

It comes after model Chrissy Teigen also spoke out against an Instagram user who accused her of getting work done to her face. At the time, Chrissy said that she hadn't done anything to her appearance. She'd just "gained weight."
