Adriana Lima is responding to the negative chatter about her latest red carpet appearance.

The Brazilian supermodel, 42, stepped out on Tuesday night to the Los Angeles premiere of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, looking glamorous in a striking black minidress with red accents and pointy-toe heels to match.

However, her appearance prompted some not-so-nice comments online, including suggestions that she had recently undergone cosmetic procedures.

On Wednesday, Lima clapped back at her critics with a post on her Instagram Story. She shared a makeup-free photo of herself, writing, "The face of a tired mom of one teenage girl, two preteens, a 1-year-old learning to walk, and three dogs."

"Thanks for your concern," she added.

Lima attended the Hunger Games premiere with her boyfriend, Andre Lemmers, and her daughters, Sienna, 11, and Valentina, 14, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Serbian basketball player Marko Jarić. They were also joined at the event by Lemmers' two children, Miah and Lupo.

Lima and Lemmers, 42, welcomed their first child together, son Cyan Lima, in August 2022. The model opened up to PEOPLE earlier this year about how she was choosing to embrace her postpartum body.

"Every day I have to remind myself, 'Listen, accept who you are. Accept your body,'" she said at a Victoria's Secret event in April.

"It's a transitional body right now because I had a baby. So you just created life. It's such a big blessing. Every body has a different reaction with pregnancy and post-pregnancy," she continued.

At the time, Lima said she was focusing on maintaining a daily exercise routine and practicing acceptance with the changes to her body. "And I struggle every day," she admitted. "Every day, I have to remind myself, I'm human. I get insecure here and there."

"And then every day, I learn new things. And with age, your body reacts differently," she added. "But it's okay. I'm learning."

Lima — who was a Victoria's Secret angel from 1999 to 2018 — reunited with the brand earlier this year as the face of its new Heavenly Eau de Parfum. She told PEOPLE it felt "uplifting" to be celebrated by the brand at that particular moment in her career.

“I feel that as a woman, and still being in fashion — I’m 42 years old and a mom with five kids, so I feel that I’m still being celebrated in this stage of my life,” she said at a September event in honor of Victoria’s Secret’s The Tour.

“It’s great to see that no matter what stage you are [in life], for my kids and the new models coming up, it’s uplifting."
