Adorable Kid on ‘Chopped Junior’ Wins in the Nicest Way Possible

On Tuesday’s Chopped Junior, 11-year-old Peggy won the competition and the hearts of the viewers. The budding young chef explained just how experienced she was. She said, “I have my own business called Peggy Bakes, and I even have my own business cards, so it’s official.”

The cute cooks were tasked with making pizza-themed dishes; Peggy made a masala chicken flatbread. The pint-size competitor had to nearly dive into the refrigerator to grab ingredients and waddled back carrying spice containers like Gus Gus carried food in Cinderella.

She passed the appetizer and entrée portion easily and remarked about the next round, “I feel nerv-ited. I’m like so nervous and excited because I love cooking desserts.”

After whipping up a pizza-dough fritter with raspberry mousse, she decided to lend a hand to her competitor by cutting her dish and helping her plate.

Thankfully, Peggy was declared the winner of the episode.

Chopped Junior airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Food Network.
