Chelsea (A192543) is a diamond in the rough. She originally came to the shelter as a stray and as sweet as she is with people, we know that there had to be an owner out there somewhere.

Sadly, they never came for her. Chelsea is the perfect size! At about 2 years old and only 50 pounds, she is big enough to run and play with the big dogs but small enough to curl into a little ball on her dog bed. She was pretty scared when she first arrived but is making steady progress with lots of treats and sweet talking.

Shelter: Squints is saved, with help from Animal Shelter Foundation

A volunteer favorite for walks, Chelsea adores the peace and quiet of the outdoors and away from the noisy kennels. Chelsea is sweet and affectionate with people, but on the shy-er side when you first meet her. She does well with other dogs, but think she would be best in a home without cats or small animals.

Chelsea needs a second chance in a home and is so deserving of a loving family. Get started rescuing her today by submitting your Adoption Questionnaire to adopt@talgov.com and referencing her unique animal ID# - A192543
