Adele Teases Major Plans to Grow Her Family at Recent Concert

After Adele paused her Las Vegas residency for health reasons, shows resumed in mid-May. Fans were thrilled to see the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer return to the stage—but they were likely even more excited about her plans to grow her family.

On Friday, May 17, Adele made an unexpected announcement during her Weekends With Adele concert at Caesars Palace in Sin City.

“Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby,” the "Hello" songstress revealed, per the Daily Mail. “I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world. That is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?”

Adele continued: “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”

Adele, 36, shares one son, Angelo, 11, with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, to whom she was married from 2018 to 2021. The pop star has been dating Rich Paul, 42, since early 2021; they went Instagram official that September.

Meanwhile, Paul has three children—Reonna, Richie and Zane—from a previous relationship. Adele even gave a brief shout-out to her stepdaughter during her May 17 show.

“It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend,” she shared, noting that Reonna completed her studies at Clark Atlanta University. “So, I love you darling.”

One thing is for sure: If Adele and Paul do decide to expand their blended family, they will have plenty of older siblings to help!
