Is Adele saying "hello"... to marriage once more?

At her Vegas residency concert over the weekend, the "Someone Like You" singer had a puzzling exchange with a fan that has prompted fans to speculate about her marital status.

After a fan asked if Adele could marry her, the singer said, "You can't marry me, I'm straight, my love, and my husband's here tonight, he's here."

The fan responded, "can you try?"

"Oh, no, I don't want to try. I'm with Rich — you're crazy, leave me alone," the singer said in a half-joking tone.

The singer has been dating sports manager Rich Paul since 2021. Paul is the founder of Klutch Sports Group and manages dozens of NBA players, including the Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green, the Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young, and the Chicago Bulls' Lonzo Ball.

Adele and Paul were first seen in public together courtside at the NBA Finals in July 2021. At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the couple had been seeing each other for "a few months," which means they likely began dating in the spring of 2021. "I didn't mean to go public with it. I just wanted to go to the game," Adele later said of the game. "I just love being around him. I just love it."

Adele began her residency in Las Vegas, Weekends with Adele, on Nov. 18, 2022. The residency is slated to last until Nov. 4 of this year.
