Adele has given fans an early Christmas treat by sharing photos of herself all glammed up for a festive party.

The star, who doesn’t often give us a glimpse into her personal life, posted black and white shots of herself in a swish satin party dress with a look that appeared to pay homage to old Hollywood glamour.

While in one photo the mother-of-one was sternly posing with the Grinch, in the next she was joined by Father Christmas for a more light-hearted snap as she playfully poked out her tongue.

She captioned the photos: "We both tried to ruin Christmas but then both our hearts grew! Thank you for coming to my party and making us feel like kids Grinch.

“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone x."

It comes after Adele, 31, shared a photo of herself displaying a new look at Drake’s birthday party back in October.

Appearing to be referencing her weight loss, she wrote underneath the photo: “I used to cry but now I sweat.”

The Hello singer split from her husband of three years Simon Konecki earlier in the year.

The pair wed in 2016 and had been together five years prior to that. They also share one son, Angelo, who was born in 2012.

It was reported back in September that Adele had been linked to rapper Skepta, although a romance was never confirmed.

It had also been suggested earlier in the year that Adele was back on the dating scene after being spotted with a mystery man at British Summer Time in Hyde Park.

However, the man in question actually transpired to be Paul Drayton, husband of Adele's close friend Alan Carr.
