EXCLUSIVE: Natasha Behnam (The Girls on the Bus), Pete Ploszek (Parks & Recreation), Tom Francis (Sunset Boulevard) and b (Station 19) are set for recurring roles in the fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit psychological drama You.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name, You revolves around the question, “What would you do for love?” The series follows Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a man who will do just about anything when love is at stake.

In addition to Badgley, they join previously announced Charlotte Richie, Madeline Brewer, Anna Camp and Griffin Matthews for Season 5.

Season 4 was set in London where Joe took on the new identity of Jonathan Moore, an English professor, while following Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) around Europe. Details regarding the focus of Season 5 are being kept under wraps.

Behnam plays Dominique. While appearing to be an aloof hipster, Dominique is in fact a passionate, clever, fiercely loyal young woman. Despite her wealthy upbringing, she’s a headstrong caretaker among her scrappy artist friends.

Ploszek portrays Harrison, Joe’s golden retriever brother-in-law. A former pro-football player and trophy husband to Reagan Lockwood, Harrison must balance the needs of his family with his own heart’s desires.

Francis plays Clayton, a pretentious, self-absorbed, wannabe author whose vindictive, controlling nature draws Joe’s attention.

b portrays Phoenix, who’s shrewd and resourceful with a strong moral code. Their young life was upended by tragedy, setting them on a course that led to New York and a search for renewed purpose.

Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti developed You for TV. Executive producers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo will co-showrun Season 5. EPs also include Berlanti, Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Marcos Siega, Neil Reynolds and Lee Toland Krieger.

Behnam most recently can be seen starring in Max’s series The Girls On the Bus, alongside Melissa Benoist, Carla Gugino, and Christina Elmore. In film, Behnam appeared in Universal Pictures’ American Pie Presents: Girls’ Rules opposite Darren Barnet, Madison Pettis, and Sara Rue. She most recently shot the independent film CognAItive alongside Noel Fisher, Piper Curda, and Josh Zuckerman. Behnam is repped by Hyperion and SK Management.

Ploszek’s TV and film credits include Parks & Recreation, Shameless, Liberty Crossing, Teen Wolf, Superstore, 9-1-1, Captain Marvel, Terminator: Dark Fate, Babylon, and the role of Leonardo in Paramount’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies.

Francis recently won the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for starring as Joe Gillis in Jamie Lloyd’s West End production of Sunset Boulevard, a role he will reprise in the Broadway production of Sunset Boulevard at the St. James Theatre this fall. Other credits include &Juliet (Shaftesbury Theatre), What’s New Pussycat (Birmingham Rep), Rent (Hope Mill Theatre) and Hair – The Concert (London Palladium).

b can be seen in the Apple TV+ series We Crashed opposite Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, as well as the Showtime series Let The Right One In. b also recently starred in the Disney+ pilot Witch Mountain. On stage, b recently starred in the Second Stage Theater production of Toros, as well as the New York Theatre Workshop production of American (Tele)visions.
