'The Addams Family' takes the stage at River Valley High School this weekend

River Valley High School will not only present its spring musical this weekend. The school community also will bid a fond farewell to Julia Vanderhoff, who will direct her final show at River Valley − "The Addams Family − School Edition."

In all, Vanderhoff has directed 30 musicals at River Valley, beginning with "Annie Get Your Gun."

"The Addams Family Musical" includes a cast and crew of more than 35 students.

Lead cast members are: Noah Williams as Gomez Addams; Rose Linville as Morticia Addams; Evy Runyon as Wednesday Addams; Halli Schenk as Pugsley Addams; Abby Isler as Grandma Addams; Carson Combs as Fester Addams; Daniel Laytart as Lurch; Chase Osborne as Lucas Beineke; Kennedy Hummel as Alice Beineke; and Preston Campbell as Mal Beineke.

Performances will take place at the River Valley High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
