Adam Sandler's Twitter Got Hacked! Signs Point To Same Group That Hacked Mariah Carey

Adam Sandler is the latest celebrity to be hacked and several illegitimate racist, sexist, and anti-Semitic tweets were sent from his account on Thurday.

The disturbing invasion of privacy marks the second big-name star to be hacked this week. Mariah Carey's twitter was hacked on New Year's Eve and the evidence is pointing to one group of hackers known as the Chuckling Squad.

The vulgar tweets have since been removed but, as of the writing of this article, several retweets that Sandler's hacked account put out remain. One of the retweets calls President Obama a "monkey."

Hacked Racist Retweets

Hacked tweets from both Carey's and Sandler's account referenced the Chuckling Squad, who is allegedly responsible for hacking Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's account in August.

One tweet read, "I just had phone sex with @MariahCarey" which obviously connects the two crimes. Another said, "The activity on this account is weak asf."

The hackers directed on tweet at President Trump that said, "@realDonaldTrump you're a racist cracker. RT if you agree. #2020 #f**ktrump."

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed with Sandler's rep that the account, which has 2.4 million followers, was locked as soon as his team learned of the violation.

The group also claimed responsibility for the hacking of Chloe Grace Moretz account in September. One of those hacked tweets alleged featured Dorsey's Social Security number but it was never confirmed.

Mariah's Hacking

The hackers decided to send out several tweets from Mariah's account that took aim at Eminem. One even said that the iconic rapper has a small member.

Mariah got mixed up in the decade long beef between her ex, Nick Cannon and Marshall Mathers again so the hackers exploited the situation.

The tweets were removed as quickly as possible and Mariah seemed to laugh it off because she legitimately tweeted poking fun at her luck.

"I take a freaking nap and this happens?" she said in the first real tweet after the hacking.
