Nothing will get between Adam Sandler and his favorite candy bar.

On Monday, the actor, 57, attended the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Spaceman, held at the Egyptian Theater, where he spoke about his ultimate sweet treat — which happens to be discontinued.

With him playing Jakub Prochazka, an astronaut on a solo mission to Jupiter, in his new movie, reporters wanted to know what kind of junk food he'd take with him if he were to head into space.

"Oh, that's good. I guess right now a Marathon bar. You ever have one of those? They don't make them anymore. Maybe they make only a few," Sandler told reporters.

When asked if he has a "secret factory" making the tasty treat, the Murder Mystery star replied, "That's good. No, I don't. Maybe I do. I'm Sandler for God's sake, I can get a Marathon bar, all right."

The candy, which was discontinued in 1981 after an eight-year run, according to The Daily Meal, was a combination of chocolate and caramel in a braided-like bar. The Daily Meal points out that Cadbury's Curly Wurly bars are quite similar, and scarcely available in the U.S. — so perhaps that's what Sandler is able to get his hands on.

Sandler was joined by his family at Monday's Spaceman premiere. There he also spoke about sharing the screen with his daughters Sadie, 17, Sunny, 15, in multiple movies.

When asked if casting his teen daughters in films is the best way to spend time with them, the Waterboy actor admitted, "They still don't talk to you. They go do their thing." He added: "They do the best they can, and then they go do their life. I am on the side going, 'Love you.' I say I love you a lot to them."

Sadie and Sunny have been working alongside their famous father for more than a decade now, regularly starring in films with their model-actress mother, Jackie, 49, as well, including the 2023 Netflix movieYou Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah.

Despite being known for his comedy, Spaceman sees Sandler take on a more dramatic role as astronaut Jakub, who becomes concerned with his marriage and life back on earth while on a solo mission.

A synopsis reads, "Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship." That creature, named Hanuš and voiced by Paul Dano, "works with Jakub to make sense of what went wrong before it is too late," the synopsis states.

Spaceman, based on the 2017 book Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař, hits Netflix on March 1.
