Adam Sandler Will Spend This Autumn Telling You How Much He’s Missed You
Adam Sandler has missed you. He’ll show you how much he’s longed for you this fall on a comedy tour he’s dubbed the I Missed You Tour. The tour features a “surprise guest” and kicks off in Vancouver next month; dates run through December. (Caveat: He’ll only tell some of you how much he’s missed you since the tour is “for mature audiences only,” with maturity apparently beginning at age 16. Sorry, 15-year-olds.)
Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon local time on Friday via Ticketmaster, but Live Nation is launching a presale on Thursday at the same time.

The comedian may have been looking for work, like a comedy tour he’s responsible for himself, since he’s spent part of the summer on picket lines as part of the SAG-AFTRA strike. Nevertheless, some movies that he made prior to the acting and writing strikes have been coming out.
Recently, he starred in Bat Mitzvah, which Rolling Stone praised in a review. “As Sandler gets older, he seems to be relaxing more,” the magazine wrote. “It’s actually exciting to watch a star whose stock-in-trade has been arrested development flourish in a mature midlife period.” He also appeared in Murder Mystery 2.
Earlier this year, Sandler accepted the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. “Adam Sandler has entertained audiences for over three decades with his films, music, and his tenure as a fan favorite cast member on SNL,” Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter said. “Adam has created characters that have made us laugh, cry, and cry from laughing. I am looking forward to a laughter-filled evening like no other as we celebrate his career at a ceremony that is sure to bring together the best in comedy.”
