“Remember The Beatles, every song on the record, you know? That's Taylor Swift too.”

Adam Sandler is fearless when he meets most celebrities, but there’s one particular musician that hits different.

In a conversation with Conan O’Brien on SiriusXM's Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend, the Billy Madison actor revealed one of the few celebs that still leaves him star-struck. “Taylor Swift, because what she means to my kids, I get it a little jumpy,” Sandler said. “Just cause I don't wanna blow it for my kids. So I'm a little like, ‘Taylor Taylor,’ like I talk a little too loud or something. I don't say as cool as I can.”

Sandler also said that he understands the comparisons between the “All Too Well” singer and another chart-topping artist. “People talk about The Beatles of it all and her,” he said. “I mean, man, so many smash hits. There's not a word my kids don't know.”

Even Sandler himself knows all the lyrics to her songs. “I know them too, by the way. But they know them inside and out,” he said. “But it's just, remember The Beatles, every song on the record, you know? That's Taylor Swift too. You just, there’s not a song you skip. You go, ‘that one's pretty damn cool.’”

The Sandman’s Swiftie status extends at least as far back as 2019, when he covered Swift’s song “Lover” with his kids as part of a charity fundraiser. Sandler was also spotted at Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Los Angeles in August, and also attended the premiere of the Eras Tour concert film in October.
